Well if this isn’t one of those D’oh! moments I don’t know what is!

This Saturday, in Santa Rosa (1-hour north of San Francisco) I’m teaching a one-day seminar, Blogging Basics & Beyond.

One of the topics I’ll be covering is how to effectively use your blog to expand exposure for your products and services. And here it is, two days before the seminar and I never posted the event here at Evolving Times. I hate when that happens.

I Want You To Make A Lot Of Mistakes For 7 Weeks

Now why in the world would I want to encourage you to make mistakes? Because, in my opinion, mistakes provide us with one of the most effective paths to success and improvement…

When they are handled in the right way.

Now if your idea of handling mistakes is to shrug your shoulders and say “Oh well, that’s the way it is,” I can’t help you.

But if you view mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow and want to go out and make a few mistakes and then get some immediate coaching, feedback, and suggestions about how to do it better next time, I can help you.

I’m creating a new program, the 7-week Life Turnaround program, that begins on Monday, September 10th. This program will not only teach you how to put the Law of Attraction into action in your life, it will provide you with a supportive, accelerated learning environment where you will learn in action and make significant, positive change in one specific area of your life.

Does your financial house need some cleaning up? If so, you can focus on that.
Could your relationship with your life partner be a bit smoother? You can work on that.
Is it time for a new job or career? Spend the next 7-weeks focused on that.

This program grew out of my observation that far too many people discover the Law of Attraction, get all excited about its potential, but then get discouraged because they don’t know how to put it into action in their life.

This course will take you through a step-by-step 7-week process for successfully applying the Law of Attraction in your life.

When I release the final version of this program, it’s most likely going to be a self-study course with an e-book, recordings and worksheets.

But for this beta test, I’m going to work with 7 participants. This will give me the ability to refine the content, make changes on the fly based on feedback, and create a truly valuable final product based on the outcomes from this first group.

So because it’s the first run and I’ll be using you as Guinea Pigs, the cost of this program is less than what I would charge for the private coaching. Keep in mind that I don’t even offer private coaching anymore. But when I did, I was charging $250/hour.

Now you might ask why I would charge someone to go through a trial version.

Well, I learned long ago that when people get something for nothing, that’s usually the value they associate with it. And it’s much easier for someone to sign up for a free program and never show up.

I want 7 participants who are truly committed to making significant changes in their lives.

But, what I have done, is to set the cost for this program at less than the cost of the private coaching lessons. That way, if the rest of the program sucks (it won’t) you’ll still be getting a great deal.

Apparently I have not been completely clear how to win one of the great prizes during this month-long Law of Attraction Blog Carnival celebration.

My bad!

So here is a dedicated post with all the details on how to enter to win.

1. Link to Evolving Times. If you have a blog or website, add a link to the Evolving Times blog, the Law of Attraction Carnival Homepage, the Party Announement, or another post that you want to share with your readers during the month of August and you’ll automatically be entered to win both the weekly prizes and the grand prizes.

To be sure that you’re added to the list, I would encourage you to also send me an email or leave a comment since some incoming links seem to get lost in the shuffle over at Technorati.

Law of Attraction Live Radio Show - Today At 11:30

As you may recall, I changed the schedule for the Law of Attraction Live radio show. The show, which airs live on BlogTalkRadio, will now be broadcast on the first and third Tuesday’s of the month from 11:30-12:30 pacific time. And today is the first show of the new schedule.

On Law of Attraction Live we explore a wide range of topics related to the Law of Attraction. Sometimes I’ll bring a specific topic to explore, other times I’ll show up and see what starts flowing. And there’s always a space for you to participate in the conversation, to bring your questions and comments to the air.

A Technical Mulligan On The Law Of Attraction Live Radio Show

I just checked the stats on the recording of the first Law of Attraction Live Radio show. Almost 200 of you have tried to listen to the show. If you’re one of them, you undoubtedly heard that there were some technical problems. Specifically, at about 12-minutes into the show you heard my “station” get taken over by a bunch of folks speaking a foreign language.

The live broadcast, fortunately, was fine. It was just the recording that got messed up.

Ah, I just love technology!

Really I do. And in spite of the trouble with the recording of the first show, I’m forging onward with Blogtalkradio and Law of Attraction Live: Practical Tools For Creating The Life You Desire.

Because the recording messed up, I’m going to repeat the first show so that I’ll have a good recording available for listeners.

Beginning on Monday, I will be hosting Law of Attraction Live: Practical tools for creating the life you desire live on Blogtalkradio.

While I love blogging and connecting with you through this forum, I am truly excited about the opportunity to share and connect with you in a more personal manner.

Each week, the show will focus on a specific aspect of the Law of Attraction. I’ll spend some time sharing my knowledge, observations, personal stories and powerful tools. And you’ll have an opportunity to call into the show to ask questions and share your stories and insights about the Law of Attraction.

From time to time I’ll be inviting special guests to join me for some inspiring conversations about the Law of Attraction.

Message To Al Gore - Change The Tagline For LiveEarth

I was so excited about the previous post on Al Gore’s LiveEarth Concert that it didn’t even occur to me that something was amiss until just now.

What’s wrong about a global event to combat climate crisis you might ask? Absolutely nothing is wrong with the event. What is wrong is their focus on “Combatting Climate Crisis.”

It’s wrong for two big reasons. First, whenever you fight or combat something, you are setting up sides, right and wrong, positive and negative and entering into the endeavor from a place of adversarial perception. The last thing we need right now in our move towards sustainability is more battle.

Second, by focusing the Climate Crisis, what are they bringing global attention to? Correct, the climate crisis? From a Law of Attraction perspective, what do we want to focus global attention on? Right again, sustainability, or a clean environment or fresh air, or … well you get the idea.

So how about it Al? Would you be willing to change your tagline from The Concert to Combat Climate Crisis to something like The Concert to Create A Clean Earth?

How about if we come up with a great tagline that engages the powerful, positive focusing forces of the Law of Attraction and send it over to Al and the folks at LiveEarth?
