A Technical Mulligan On The Law Of Attraction Live Radio Show

I just checked the stats on the recording of the first Law of Attraction Live Radio show. Almost 200 of you have tried to listen to the show. If you’re one of them, you undoubtedly heard that there were some technical problems. Specifically, at about 12-minutes into the show you heard my “station” get taken over by a bunch of folks speaking a foreign language.

The live broadcast, fortunately, was fine. It was just the recording that got messed up.

Ah, I just love technology!

Really I do. And in spite of the trouble with the recording of the first show, I’m forging onward with Blogtalkradio and Law of Attraction Live: Practical Tools For Creating The Life You Desire.

Because the recording messed up, I’m going to repeat the first show so that I’ll have a good recording available for listeners.

The Top 10 Secrets To My Success

What sets successful people apart from those who just get by?

It’s a great question. And Aaron Potts of Today Is That Day, has issued an invitation to a few (alright a gazillion) successful bloggers to share the habits that contribute to their success. I’m game. And I must say, narrowing down the list to just 5-10 things that contribute to my success was no easy task. But I managed to pull it off.

Here they are, in no particular order, The secrets to my success.

1. Waking up at 5:00am every morning. Since my 30-day trial of waking up at 5:00am, it has become an ongoing and indispensable part of my daily routine. Those extra morning hours, before the rest of my family wakes up are often my most creative and productive.

2. Meditate every morning. No matter how busy or overwhelmed I might be feeling about my task list, I begin every day with 30-60 minutes of meditation. Being someone that likes variety I rotate different meditation enhancements into this time including the Holosync Brainwave Entrainment technology, guided visualization and hypnotherapy recordings, self-guided energy medicine techniques, intention setting, as well as simple breath-counting meditations.

3. Use brainwave entrainment technology. In addition to using the Holosync solution in the mornings, I use the Neuro-Programmer 2 at least once a day to refresh my energy level, enhance my creativity (when I’m writing) or help me relax when I’m up against a deadline.

4. I use the Simpleology web cockpit every day. I can’t say enough about Simpleology. The simple elegance of this program serves to keep me on task and on target. Using Simpleology, I get at least twice as much done on a daily basis. As a side note, the entire Simpleology system is so full of powerful tools to boost efficiency, increase income and enhance personal energy that I could list at least 10 more habits from Simpleology that I have integrated into my daily life. If you have yet experienced Simpleology, I highly recommend that you sign up for a free account right now.

5. Get outside every day. It’s so easy for me to stay cooped up all day in my cave…err…office, punching away on the keyboard. To counteract the potential for blogger’s butt, I walk to and from my office on most days and get outside for a lunch-time walk.

6. I hike at least three times a week. I need my nature fix. Without it I get grumpy. Just ask my wife! Getting out into the wild is a top priority for me.

7. Take a day off from the computer each week. This day of rest is a recent addition to my success habits. And I must admit, while I have been successful, it has not been easy. The temptation to turn on the laptop, “just for a minute,” to log into my WP control panel to approve and respond to comments or post a quick thought, or… well you get the idea. But while it has not been easy, the benefits have been great. My computer-free day is usually Sunday. So when I wake up Monday morning, I am champing at the bit (or would that be byte?) to start writing.

8. Play with my daughter. My daughter is my most effective teacher in so many ways. She teaches me about presence, play, joy, discovery, love and so much more.

9. Remember that I am here to experience joy and feel great. One of the most powerful insights from the Law of Attraction that I have integrated on a daily basis, is the truth that I am here for joy! I am here to have fun. I have little reminders about this in my office, home and car, in case I forget.

10. Play well with others. I have come to realize, better late than never, that I can’t succeed in solitude. Connecting with others has become a hugely important part of my daily routine. Whether joining the conversation here in the blogosphere, meeting with a colleague to discuss possible partnerships, connecting on a bridge line with peers for a mastermind group, or asking for perspective on new ideas from friends, stepping out of the vacuum of “solo” entrepreneur and into a larger community has been one of the most important recent secrets of my expanding success.

That’s it, although I could definitely keep going. Thanks again to Aaron Potts for initiating this conversation.

Now I’ll tag the following successful bloggers because I want to hear (steal) some of their success habits. My apologies if you’ve already been tagged. Consider it an “I second that” tag confirmation.

Technical Difficulties

If you tried to get into Evolving Times in the last 45-minutes or so, [2/28 from 4:00 - 5:00ish] you may have had some trouble. Seems there is some major Internet backbone issue affecting my host provider. Hopefully it’s been resolved and you can stay as long as you want!

With The Simpleology Cockpit Mark Joyner Has Outdone Himself

Ok, I admit I’m a bit slow. Mark had to send me a pretty darn funny email to remind me to go and check out the new Simpleology Cockpit. And I have just two things to say: Wow! And, thank you mark!

Simpleology has always been powerful. It is, by far, the simplest and most effective time and task management system I have ever utilized. (Although it’s far more than just a task management system). The concepts and tools embedded in the system have provided me with a simple, clear framework for accomplishing more in less time and with less stress.

And now, with the introduction of the Simpleology web cockpit, the potential effectiveness of the system has dramatically increased.

You might laugh at this, but one of the reasons (excuses?) that was getting in the way of my consistent use of the Simpleology system was the incredible amount of paper that it required: At least three sheets of paper every day just for the Daily Target Praxis (if you haven’t explored Simpleology yet, you’ll find out about the DTP when you sign up). As someone who is doing my best to contribute to a sustainable future, even though I was using both sides of the page and recycling them when I was done, I had a hard time with this.

Those days are gone. The new Simpleology web (and desktop) cockpit now handles all of the daily target praxis work, and much more, electronically. You no longer have to print out reams of Morning Brain Dump and Daily Targets sheets. It’s all handled from within the cockpit.

If you’re already using Simpleology and have not logged in to your account in a while (or if you tried it in the past and have fallen off) I highly recommend that you head over to your login page and check out the new stuff.

And here’s the most incredible thing: Simpleology, even with all of these new tools, is still free! Yes, you have the option to pay for the advanced courses and bonus material (I have and I’m glad I did) but even if you just sign up for a free Simpleology 101 account, the concepts and tools you get from that program alone will transform your life (if you use them!)

If you haven’t given Simpleology a spin yet, it has my highest recommendation. Go sign up for your free account now give it a thirty-day trial. Come back here when you’re done with the 30-day trial and post a comment about any changes you noticed.

That went well!  Took about an hour to upgrade Wordpress. Not bad. I think I’ve found and corrected all the problems, but if you notice any glitches let me know.

I’m upgrading to the new Wordpress release. There may be moments during the process when Evolving Times is not available or is missing some functions. Not to worry… All is well. We’ll be back soon and better than ever.

You Know The Holosync Solution Is Working When…

Yesterday morning I woke up at 5:30 – apparently I needed a bit of extra sleep beyond my now normal 5:00 am wake up time. I quietly rolled out of bed, made sure Ella and Melissa were all tucked in, and came softly downstairs. I opened the bathroom door and stepped inside, closed the door, and walked right into the little black cube heater we use to warm it up in there.

As the sharp pain in my toe registered with my brain, I felt a surge of anger accompanying the pain. In the past – as recently as 3-months ago – that anger would have expanded and become stuck inside me. It would have crawled up into my brain and activated thoughts of blame and resentment such as, “I’ve asked Melissa 3 times to move the heater back into the corner when she’s done with it. Why doesn’t she do what I ask?”

That anger would have become the dominant vibration in my personal energy field. I would have started my day from that place of anger and, until I shifted that vibration, I would have attracted experiences and people that matched my anger.

That is what would have happened not too long ago. But it’s not what happened yesterday.

I felt the anger. I noticed some of those thoughts urging me into blame mode. I felt that instant where I could have allowed those thoughts and that anger to take control.

It was interesting to watch the pain and anger and thoughts from a new and different place of awareness. I watched and, instead of fighting it or buying into it, I just stopped and breathed into the experience.

I followed the anger through the immediate source – the pain in my toe – down to the deeper source – my thoughts of resentment and feelings of betrayal that Melissa had, once again, left the heater in the middle of the floor – and finally, I followed that anger down to the underlying source, the dark, shadowy places inside myself that wait for moments like this to come lunging out of the dark and take control of my thoughts and actions.

I watched without judging and I allowed the anger to expand, recognizing and honoring the truth of my experience in the moment without letting that experience become who I am.

I was allowing a fire to burn big and hot and fast without adding any fuel to it. A fire like that is too hot to put out but burns itself out just as quickly as it starts.

Intuitively, I knew that if I tried to put this fire out I would get burned. In the past, I have tried to put out these fires. It doesn’t work. Attempting to deny, avoid or suppress the anger just gives it more power.

So I let this fire burn big and hot and fast. And since I was not providing any additional fuel, the anger burned itself out very quickly – this entire process took no more than 5-seconds – and I was left with a deep feeling of peace.

Bill Harris, the creator of the Holosync Solution and one of the featured Deliberate Creators in the movie The Secret, says that the Holosync raises the threshold of your trigger points. Since beginning to work with the Holosync I have definitely noticed a higher threshold.

In my relationship with Melissa, I notice things she does that would have definitely pushed me into a “triggered” before my work with the Holosync. Sometimes I don’t react at all to the trigger events, but more often, I still notice the charge coming up within me but I catch it before it pushes me into an unconscious, triggered space.

I don’t think there’s any way to test or “prove” this, but I think if I had this toe-stubbing experience back in September, before beginning my work with the Holosync Solution, that anger would have been with me for a long time. I would have been adding logs to that fire all day! And I would have attracted more and more reasons to keep throwing wood on that fire.

Will the Holosync work for you? That’s pretty much up to you. I’ve been extremely dedicated in my work with the Holosync. I listened to it every day for the first 30-days and since then have listened at least four days a week.

It’s a commitment. Like anything, it’s not a magic pill. You have to be willing to put in the time. And with the Holosync, that means one hour a day. (30-minutes for the first 14-days).

But the way I look at it, the hours that I have spent listening to the Holosync have saved me a ton of energy, pain and money. Just look at today. If I had allowed that anger to grow and get stuck inside of me, who knows what “angry” experiences I would have attracted into my life today.

Now, in large part because of my work with the Holosync, my dominant vibrational offering is one of peace and enthusiasm. What great experiences will I attract from this place? And how much time and money will it be worth?

Spam Commenters Might Not Be So Good At Math Afterall

Michael, the creator of the Math Spam Comment Protection Plugin left a comment on my previous post about his Wordpress plugin suggesting that the spam I’m seeing could be trackbacks rather than comments.

I believe he’s right. (Sorry for doubting you). So I’m following his advice and installing the trackback validator plugin as well.

Hopefully I’ll get to a place where I’ll be able to just let comments through without holding them in moderation.

Spam Commenters Are Good At Math

Well the math comment plugin worked for a few weeks. But in the past few days I’ve been hit by a surge of spam comments. Too bad. It’s such a simple and elegant solution. I was really hoping it was going work.

Simpleology 103 Preview

Yesterday, Mark Joyner just sent out an announcement to Simpleology members that Simpleology 103: The Simple Science of Energy, will be available in mid-January.

It’s been a long time in the making, but if it’s anywhere near as powerful as Simpleology 101 and 102 it will have been well worth the wait.

Here is Mark’s little teaser for 103:

Simpleology 103 is coming – very soon.

Meanwhile, here is a little teaser …

My friend Tellman was on the brink of utter exhaustion.

This tasteless, odorless, legal white powder (that you can find
easily almost anywhere) made him “jacked” full of energy.

He said, “it was like flipping a switch!”

Athletes “in the know” swear by it.

What is it?

You have to read the report I prepared for you:

He’s good, isn’t he?

I can’t give you any more details here, but if you want to learn more about the upcoming release, head on over and sign up for instant free access to Simpleology 101. I promise you that it has the power to change your life.
