The Deliberate Creator’s Declaration of Independence

Declaration of Independence

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary to dissolve the Mental, Emotional, Physical and Energetic bonds which have connected one person to another, and to assume among the powers of the Earth, the separate and equal privileges to which the laws of the Universe entitle them, their own self-respect requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Deliberate Creators are created equal. That they are endowed by their Creative Source with certain unalienable rights and that among these are life, liberty, abundance, joy and the pursuit of happiness.

To secure these rights, certain thoughts, beliefs and ideologies have been instituted among men and women, deriving their just powers from the consent of the people. And whenever any of these thoughts, beliefs or ideologies becomes destructive to these unalienable rights, it is the responsibility of Deliberate Creators to alter or abolish them, and to institute new ones, laying their foundation on such principles and organizing their powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to empower their natural states of abundance, joy and love.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that beliefs long established should not be changed for light and transient causes. But experience has shown that individuals are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the beliefs to which they are accustomed. But when existing thoughts, beliefs and ideologies sabotage, subvert and ultimately destroy the will of Deliberate Creators, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such belief systems, and to create and embrace new beliefs that empower their strength, prosperity and evolution.

Such has been the patient sufferance of these Deliberate Creators; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of thought, belief and ideology. The history of the existing Prevailing Belief System is a history of ongoing injury and usurpation, having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these Deliberate Creators.

To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

  • This belief system would have us base our actions on fear.
  • This belief system holds that we lack personal power.
  • This belief system affirms that we are unable to manifest our desires.
  • This belief system defines the world as a dangerous place.
  • This belief system alleges that scarcity and lack is our natural state.
  • This belief system asserts that we are meant to struggle and suffer.
  • This belief system avows that vulnerability, intimacy and trust are weaknesses.
  • This belief system affirms that we are unworthy, undeserving and not good enough.

We, therefore, the representatives of the Deliberate Creators of the World, appealing to the Creative Source for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of all Deliberate Creators, solemnly publish and declare, that we are, and of right ought to be free and independent from the Prevailing Belief System; that we are absolved from all allegiance to those beliefs and that all Mental, Emotional, Physical and Energetic connections between us and the Prevailing Belief System, are and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and independent Deliberate Creators, we have full power to attract our desires, seek ever greater joy, engage in inspired action, bask in the limitless abundance of this Universe, and do all other things which true Deliberate Creators may of right do. And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of the Creative Source, we mutually pledge to each other our support, our encouragement and our sacred honor.

If you would like to join us in declaring your independence from the prevailing belief system, add your name to the comments below. Every signature added to this document weakens the prevailing belief system and strengthens the new beliefs that empower our ability to create the lives we desire and the world we want!

The Law of Attraction Blog Carnival Returns

If you’ve been reading Evolving Times for a while, you know that for over a year, I hosted the Law of Attraction Carnival, the longest running blog carnival dedicated to the exploration of the Law of Attraction. And you may have noticed that it’s been more than 3-months since the last edition of the Law of Attraction Carnival. And the last mention of the carnival was this Law of Attraction carnival update posted back in December

Well for those of you Law of Attraction Carnival fans out there, I’ve got great news. Two wonderful Law of Attraction bloggers are going to inject some new life into the carnival and make sure that it keeps going!

I’m very excited to announce that Dean Lacono of The Law of Attraction For Beginners and Ellie Walsh of Living the Law of Attraction are going to be the co-hosts of the Law of Attraction Carnival!

The first edition of the new Law of Attraction Blog Carnival will be on Thursday, February 21st. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, February 19th.

And the topic of this edition, in honor of the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday is The Law of Attraction and relationships. If you have a excellent post on how to use the Law of Attraction to improve your relationships, submit it over at the Law of Attraction page at BlogCarnival.

I am thrilled and grateful to be handing the carnival off to these two wonderful Law of Attraction bloggers. So be sure to stop by Dean’s and Ellie’s blogs and thank them for taking over the carnival!

A Law of Attraction Carnival Update

If you’ve been a participant in or a reader of the Law of Attraction Carnival, you’ve probably noticed that there hasn’t been one in a while. In fact the last carnival here at Evolving Times was on September 25th. The last carnival edition was on October 9th hosted at Feels Like Magic.

So what’s up?

Well a few things have shifted. As I was planning for and working on the site redesign I also took some time to re-examine my vision for Evolving Times and the focus and direction.

What I discovered was that, while the Law of Attraction is an important piece of my work and belief system, it is not the only piece, nor is it even the biggest piece. And I was becoming a bit uncomfortable that I was becoming recognized as a Law of Attraction blogger. My approach to personal growth is far too eclectic to be defined and confined by the Law of Attraction label.

And I must also admit that I was getting a bit tired of weeding through carnival submissions that had nothing to do with the Law of Attraction or the specific edition topic.

There were always a handful of brilliant, on-topic posts, but there were far more posts of questionable value. And since I want every link on this site to point to something of real value for you, I just couldn’t include them.

My original plan was to take a short hiatus from the carnival and come back with renewed enthusiasm. But after my visioning process, it’s quite clear that it’s time for me to move on from the Law of Attraction carnival.

But I would really love to see someone take it over. If you do, you’ll inherit some good link juice. The Law of Attraction page over at the blog carnival site has a PageRank of 4 and it’s still the first page that comes up when you search for Law of Attraction within Blog Carnival. And you’ll also get several links from Evolving Times.

Since most –sane – people are out shopping instead of surfing around the blogosphere, I’ll put out another post after the holidays to see if anyone is interested in taking over the carnival. But if you’re sanity is in question and you’re actually reading this and have an interest in the carnival, let me know.

And, I have to say that, even though it’s time to move on, it sure was fun. I met some incredible people through the carnival and hopefully shared some positive, inspiring information.

Law of Attraction Carnival #27

Welcome to the 27th edition of the Law of Attraction blog carnival. This is the longest running blog carnival devoted to an exploration and deepening of our understanding of the Law of Attraction.

This edition is another general roundup of the best Law of Attraction articles from around the blogosphere. So get ready to immerse yourself in some excellent reading.

Let’s jump right in with our Featured Entries for this edition:

Featured Entries

First up is an entry from Erin Pavlina, See A Penny, Pick It Up. This entry immediately caught my attention since it’s a topic I wrote about a while back and it’s something that I feel very quite strongly about. Erin does a wonderful job explaining why it’s important to pick up those pennies you see on the ground.

In another article about finding money, sort of, Beverly Keaton Smith at Embrace Your Gifts and Soar, tells a moving story about her decade’s long quest in The Year of The Sand Dollar. Yes, the Law of Attraction works, sometimes it just takes a while!

Alex Blackwell at the Next 45 Years has a terrific entry on Achieving Life Balance. According to Alexander, one of the keys, from a Law of Attraction perspective, is choosing balance! In this fast-paced world it’s very easy to forget that balance is, indeed, a choice.

Raymond David Salas at ZenChill gives us some interesting ideas on How To Have a Conversation With God. Raymond points out the similarities between Neale Donald Walsch’s observations and teachings and those of Abraham-Hicks (Law of Attraction).

And finally John Wolfe at Season of Shadows (all about halloween!) has a very good article on what he calls, The Law of Distraction. And as someone who has faced confronted this law personally on many ocaisions I highly recommend this entry. .

And now the best of the rest

Patricia O’Rourke offers this quick look at a powerful idea in her entry A Fat Purse.

In Your Frequent Flyer Dream Account, Edith Yeoung inspires us to put all those dreams to good use!

Tracy Burchard gives us 10 Easy Steps to Using The Law of Attraction For Manifesting Prosperity.

K Sparks gives us a personal look at how to release negative energy.

Alexander Becker compares the Law of Attraction to the concept fo Self Fulfilling prophecy in this interesting article,

Arin Vahanian shows us how Gandhi’s quote: Be the change you wish to see in the world, ties into the Law of Attraction in this article, How One Quote Can Change Your Life.

In this extensive article, Tupelo Kenyon shares his thoughts about whether work is just a job or visible love.

Uni gives us a fun exercise for building abundance in Surround Yourself With Money.

Enoch Tan takes an interesting look at how Being Conscious of Miracles Attracts More of Them.

Kimberly Kingsley gives us some very concise tips on how to Love Difficult People.

Well that’s it for this edition of the Law of Attraction Blog Carnival. My thanks to everyone who submitted an entry for this carnival.

You can find archive links to all of the past editions on the Law of Attraction Homepage.

The next edition of the Carnival, on October 9th, will be hosted by Barb Lattin at Feels Like Magic. Barb has a GREAT idea for this edition, but I’ll let her share it with you. And when she does, I’ll give you a head’s up.

Law of Attraction Carnival #26: LoA and Global Events

Welcome to the September 11th edition of the Law of Attraction Blog Carnival.

If you’re a particularly astute reader you will have noticed that this is a day late. No excuses, just life.

When I saw that this edition was scheduled to be published on 9/11 I thought it would be appropriate to focus on: the Law of Attraction and Global Events.

And I must admit to being just a bit disappointed that there is only one entry that addresses this topic directly.

Now I acknowledge that this is one of the most difficult places to go with the Law of Attraction. The events of September 11th, 2001, were, by any measure, “tragic.” And when you attempt to overlay the self-responsibility aspects of the Law of Attraction onto those events you quickly run into some prickly questions:

Did the passengers on the planes “attract” the hijackers?
Did everyone in those towers “attract” those planes?
Did the family members of those who died “attract” those losses?

These are obviously difficult questions to ask, and, I think, more difficult to answer. A wiser, or perhaps more cautious, person might choose to avoid these questions altogether. But I have rarely been accused of excessive caution when it comes to these matters.

But I also recognize that this carnival may not be the best venue for beginning that exploration and the conversation that is bound to follow.

So watch for an in-depth article on this topic - most likely it will be after I return from my birthday branding trip in LA next week - and then let’s get a conversation going to see if we can come up with some answers to these difficult questions.

And now, on to the carnival!

Featured Entry

Yes, there’s just one featured entry this time. And it’s from Zoe Routh at Law of Attraction for Inspired Living. Zoe is a relative newcomer on the Law of Attraction blogging scene, but she didn’t run from this challenge. And her entry, When bad things happen to good people, does a great job of exploring this topic. I love this little snippet from Zoe:

To say in LOA terms that it was because someone was thinking negatively, or was somehow intending the disaster is like saying a cake is made of flour. There are many more ingredients with complex interactions and reactions that go into creating a cake. Even more so for global occurrences.

Thanks Zoe for taking on this challenge!

And now onto the best of the rest.

Week 4 Contest Winners - Sort Of!

I woke up early this morning so that I could post the final winners in the Law of Attraction Blog Carnival party contest before heading off to my first-Saturday-of-the-month drop in Law of Attraction group. But when I went to check the Top Commentors list, I discovered it was gone! I’m not sure what’s up with that. And I don’t have time to troubleshoot it right now.

(If anyone has any idea why the list might have disappeared I’d love to hear from you. It may have coincided with the addition of the “add to technorati favorites” button that I added yesterday but have since removed).

So I took that it as a sign! And, since I was already thinking that the Saturday of Labor Day weekend (here in the U.S.) might not be the best time for a major prize announcement, I’ve decided to hold off and award the grand prizes next week.

In case you don’t remember, the grand prizes include:

Also included in next week’s giveaway will be:

Now, I know that there are a bunch of you out there waiting to see what you’ve won today! And I don’t want to disappoint you. So I’ve come up with a few extra books to give away today as “bonus” prizes.

I’ve got two copies of T. Harv Ecker’s book, Secrets of The Millionaire Mind that I had picked up at The Millionaire Mind Intensive. And I’ll give two more copies of the inspiring anthology, Healing the Heart of the World.

Ok. So let’s get on with it and find out who the lucky Attractive winners are this week!

Since I can’t pull from the Look Who’s Talking list, let’s begin with someone from the RSS subscriber list. (remember, to qualify for a prize you have to send an email to contest at evolvingtimes dot com with the secret subscriber code in the subject line. Subscribe now to get your code!)

So our first winner of a copy of Secrets of The Millionaire Mind is Christian Petre.

And, also from the subscriber list, Ambrachid, wins a copy of Healing The Heart of The World.

Now, from the list of incoming links, a copy of Secrets of The Millionaire Mind goes to… and we have our second two-time winner, Rick Cockrum at Shards of Consciousness. Rick will have to choose between T. Harv Ecker’s book and my Law of Attraction Toolbox Audio Series which he won last week. (Let me know if you need a hint about which one to choose Rick…) Congratulations Rick. You must be putting out some seriously high vibes!

Now, becaue Rick can only get one of these prizes, that means that someone else will get the other one. And who will that be? Let’s find out! It’s Lisa Gates at Design Your Writing Life. Thanks Lisa for including the truly awesome list of Personal Development Bloggers on your site! (I’ll let you know which prize is yours after I hear from Rick).

And finally, also from the incoming link list, Bill Mize of William Mize included a link to the post 16 Personal Development Lessons from Harry Potter in his Tumbler Miniblog. Bill wins a copy of Healing the Heart of the World.

Congratulations and thank you to all of the winners this week. I’m getting all excited about giving away the grand prizes next week! (Yes, you can still get your entries in). And I’ll figure out how to get the Look Who’s Talking list back up before then.

Law of Attraction Carnival #25: 1-Year Of Attraction In Action

Welcome to the August 28th, 2007 edition of the Law of Attraction Blog Carnival, the longest running blog carnival devoted to the exploration of the Law of Attraction and its powerful applications in daily life.

This edition marks the official one-year anniversary of the Law of Attraction Blog Carnival, and to celebrate, we’re having a party!

There’s still one week left to go in the party. And there are some excellent prizes still up for grabs including the grand prizes! So go ahead and get your entries in now!

For this anniversary edition I chose the topic, “How Far Have We Come?” The intention was to look at both where we were 1-year ago and how the Law of Attraction has transformed our lives.

I’ll go ahead and start with just a couple of observations. I’ll leave the heavy lifting to the amazing authors who have contributed to this carnival.

One obvious area where the Law of Attraction has worked is with this blog. One year ago, in August 2006 I had a whopping 1017 unique visitors and a grand total of 8600 page views!

Fast forward one-year and as of today, there have been over 38,000 unique visitors to Evolving Times and nearly 150,000 page views for the month of August.

In the financial area, in the past 12-months my monthly business income has tripled. And more important, my monthly passive income has gone from $0 to over $1000.

And all of that has happened while working less! Yes, it’s taken work to become more productive. I’ve utilized some amazing tools including Simpleology, the Holosync Solution and recently I’ve begun incorporating many of the suggestions in the 4-Hour Work Week. And that productivity is exactly what I have been “asking” for this past year!

And, while all of that is great, the biggest change that the Law of Attraction has empowered in my life, and the one I am most thrilled about is a new, deeper level of connection with some truly awesome people.

Wolf has long been one of my power animals. And for most of my life I have embodied the “Lone Wolf” aspect. In the last year, I have set a very clear intention to connect deeply with positive, supportive, high-vibration people. And that intention has manifested in so many ways: Ways that I never could have imagined a year ago.

It feels great to be a part of the awesome “pack” that I have attracted!

I’ll be writing more about these changes in the next few weeks. But for now I want to turn it over to the the rest of the pack to share their observations and insights into the Law of Attraction.

But before we get to that, I want to offer you my deepest appreciation for being part of the community that has formed around Evolving Times and around this Law of Attraction Blog Carnival!

And now, onto the Carnival!

Featured Entries

For this edition, our featured entries are from the authors who wrote about the personal changes they have seen from the Law of Attraction.

Let’s begin with Aaron M. Potts at Today is that Day who gives us 1 Year of Health, Wealth, and Positivity Answer the Question - Does the Law of Attraction Work? Here’s a taste of what Aaron has to say:

…my life changed because in the 90 minutes that it took me to watch the movie [The Secret] and to learn about the Law of Attraction, I became aware. I realized with great torrents of emotion that I was far more in charge of my life than I had been giving myself credit for, or that I had been taking responsibility for, either.

Next, Lyman Reed at Creating a Better Life presents Choice and Blame (or Who Decides When I Get Off Of The Bus?). Lyman emphatically reminds us that, “Bring the Law of Attraction into it, and even those things that we would never choose consciously become choices.” As he has moved from blame to responsibility Lyman has experienced some pretty dramatic changes in his life!

Dean Lacono presents The Most Important Part of the Law Of Attraction (IMHO) posted at Law of Attraction for Beginners. Dean’s biggest Law of Attraction lessons have come in the area of appreciateion and gratitude. He says, “Since applying appreciation to my daily life, wonderful things have started to come into my life. I see the world with a whole new approach and with new eyes.”

Patricia Singleton at Spiritual Journey of a Lightworker shares how the Law of Attraction has been instrumental in her journey into self-love. In her post, The Secret—Loving Yourself, she says, “Now after reading The Secret, I know that loving myself is even more important if I want to manifest the world of my dreams.”

Jeannette Maw at the Law of Attraction Playground, gives us Conquering My Nemesis. Want to know what her nemesis is? Think canine. Think territory. Think “Bad dog!”

And finally, Jon at Jointhesecret gives us Law of Attraction - The secret to how it works for me. A big piece of the Law of Attraction is asking for, trusting and acting upon your guidance. If you’ve never seen a goldfish-shaped strawberry, be sure to read this post!

And that’s it for the Featured Entries. Remember, to be included in the featured entries section you must submit an entry that specifically addresses the topic for that edition.

Now on to the Best of the Rest.

Stephen Martile presents Accelerating the Law of Attraction (Appreciation Sob) posted at Stephen Martile.

Millionaire Mommy Next Door presents Memories Are Made of The Things We Do, Not The Things We Buy posted at Millionaire Mommy Next Door.

Tupelo Kenyon presents Action and Satisfaction posted at Tupelo Kenyon.

Enoch Tan presents Letting Go allows You to Flow in Abundance posted at Secrets of Mind and Reality - MindReality.com.

Well that’s it for this edition of the Law of Attraction Blog Carnival. My thanks to everyone who submitted an entry for this carnival.

You can link to all of the past editions on the Law of Attraction Homepage.

The next edition will be published on Tuesday, September 11th. And since we know that there are no coincidences, let’s devote that edition to an exploration of:

how the Law of Attraction works in relation to large-scale world events, including natural and man-made disasters.

Yes, it’s a difficult subject, but we’re here on the Leading Edge of Thought because we’re willing to explore those difficult subjects. So let’s see what we can come up with!

So join in the fun and the celebration and submit your entries at the Law of Attraction BlogCarnival page.

And if you’re interested in hosting an upcoming edition of the Law of Attraction Carnival, drop me a line using the contact form above.
